Joining the Committee
What the Committee does
The committee looks after all matters relating to the upkeep of the gardens . This includes collecting subscriptions , managing the budget, ensuring the trees are properly cared for , keeping the grass, plants and shrubs in good order, buying garden furniture and any other matter relating to the upkeep of the gardens

Anyone who is an owner of a property in Magdala Crescent is eligible to join.
What does it involve from me ?
Committee members discuss and agree items relating to the gardens and ideas on improving the garden and its use are always welcome.
How much time does it take up ?
The committee meets every couple of months for @1 hour plus attend the AGM. After that it's up to you how much more you want to be involved. Members are encouraged to carry out duties in areas where they have a particular expertise. In this way we aim to spread the work load which is not significant. Members discuss and agree items relating to the gardens and ideas on improving the garden and its use are always welcome.

How Long do I need to join for?
There's no fixed term you need to join for. We ask that you consider joining for 12 months as a minimum , which is @ 6 hours of your time.
